It is no secret that social media is a powerful marketing tool and in order to scale their business, brands must incorporate them effectively. Pistachio is a marketplace that makes it easy for brands to find UGC (User Generated Content) creators to produce quality content that will take their brand to the next level at an unbeatable price.
Discovery
The team attended a kickoff meeting to review the scope details the client had previously sent for Pistachio's website redesign. This included the Landing, Pricing, and Creators page but also included new ones such as Design Agencies and FAQ.
Together, we brainstormed specific questions for the client to clarify more on their vision for success for this redesign.
The client responded quickly with thorough feedback emphasizing their goals:
be insightful, convince brands to sign up by providing clear information.
highlight their technology, automation to accelerate matching process and receive content faster.
showcase talent, emphasizing selectiveness. Quality > Quantity.
leave a personal, yet trustworthy impression as a brand.
Design
It was critical that we relay the proper information that would be visually accessible for the users to convert as they interact throughout the landing page. As a team, we assessed the current website as a team and determined some issues and brainstormed solutions to implement into our design iteration. The client provided various inspirations they wished to incorporate. After several design iterations we designed screens that improved the layout of information to reduce scanning across all screens. The team successfully balance creative elements with a professional tone through our sparing and selective illustrations. In addition to our scope, we also designed mobile responsive screens.
